MARCH 31, 2011. I was stationed in Kodiak, Alaska and found a buddy named Gary Wynzack who was a radio operator in Nam. We fished in the Buskin River and drank beer at the Marine Club. What a great bunch of people we have in our blessed Marine Corps. As long as we have a Marine Corps we will have a United States. Brian Harris, 1211 202 St SE, Bothell, WA 98012. Phone: 425-806-8045. MARCH 14, 2011. Loved Japan and the Marines. I left Sasebo in 1969, and went to Vietnam. After six months in Vietnam, I was medevaced to Tokyo, spent time at the 106th general hospital there, then to North Carolina and discharged in March 1970. Sasebo was a great town to have fun and get in trouble, I did both. Major Jazko was the CO when I was there, we knew each other well. Jeffrey Miller, 1557 lynchburg loop, Lady lake, FL 32162. DECEMBER 27. 2010. By now, all of my buddies that were in the Marine Corp with me are in their 70s and older. I ran across this great website and thought I would make this post, not for me, but In Memoriam of Corporal Ronald Couch, 1st Platoon, B Company, Marine Barracks, NCS Guam. Ronald was accidentally shot on October 30,1958 while on duty at the main gate at NCS, Guam. Ronald was best man in my wedding and his wife was a bride's maid. I have been married for 53 years this next April. Ronald was 19 at the time of the fatal accident. He left behind his wife and baby girl. To those who were closest to him, he was a loyal friend, a God-fearing family loving son, husband, and father. I will never forget him. Semper Fi, my friend. Robert Page, P.O.
